Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

One of our clients is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support and lead workshop operations to increase reliability and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute improvement projects from research, execution until project closure report
• Support and optimise mechanical works on fleet to maintain the highest possible reliability and safety levels.
• Primary Purpose:
• Be the reference point of Engineering maintenance team in the mechanical engineering field
• The main purpose of this role is to ensure that preventative and corrective maintenance of the bus fleet is performed using reliable parts, in line with the best engineering practices, in utmost safety and in line with the company quality standards for increased reliability, availability of fleet and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Analysis of complex mechanical / electrical incidents and definition of the next steps for its resolution.
